Description
The sun reflecting off the dry branch of this palo verde tree caught my eye while hiking across the desert. I set up my easel and painted this alla prima in little more than an hour. I never know what will stop me in my tracks when I am �prospecting,� but if I come back dry, it�s not for lack of material out in this land of plenty.
